HELPING HARTFORD'S COMMUNITIES

Our efforts to help improve economic and social conditions throughout Hartford County include donations to organizations dedicated to assisting the poor, disabled and homeless such as:

  • Providing funds to assist building a playground for disabled children
  • Purchasing backpacks filled with socks, hats, gloves and other items for children living in a temporary housing shelter.
  • Purchasing sheets and comforter sets for a center that provides residential care and supportive services for pregnant teens, adolescent mothers and infants.
  • Funding the purchase of an industrial refrigerator for the shelter that serves an average of 96 single adult homeless males each night.

Purchasing two stoves and two refrigerators for My Sister’s Place which operates an emergency shelter, transitional living program and supportive housing programs for men, women and children.
